Come and learn more about Natives with Landscape Architect and Ecologist Fred Rozumalski!
Do you have areas in your yard where grass doesn't want to grow?
A native garden may be the solution.
Plant a variety of native plant species or just a few. Then enjoy your beautiful, low-maintenance garden, knowing that you’re saving water, reducing air pollution and providing habitat for birds and butterflies.
Fred has worked on projects involving native plant community restoration, stormwater harvesting, and sustainable landscape design. He strives to create diverse, ecologically sound and attractive landscapes that function to meet people's needs and desires.
Fred has co-authored Lakescaping for Wildlife and Water Quality with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and is currently adjunct faculty in the department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota.
