Project WET Workshop

**This one-day workshop will train educators to incorporate Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) activities into curriculum. Participants will engage in several fun, hands-on indoor and outdoor learning activities appropriate for use with students. They will also take part on a tour of the Water Treatment Plant.

Introducing the Project Wet Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0! The Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 continues Project WET’s dedication to 21st-century, cutting-edge water education. The 2.0 guide offers new activities on topics such as National Parks and stormwater, fully revised and updated activities from the original guide and the very best activities gathered from all of Project WET’s publications.

Minnesota educators have used nationally established Project WET to:

  • Introduce fun and effective environmental learning
  • Integrate environmental education techniques in indoor and outdoor classrooms.
  • Improve student skills in science, math, reading, writing and social studies.
  • Help address Minnesota academic standards.


WET Activities are:

  • Correlated to Minnesota Academic Standards
  • Interactive and hands-on
  • Ideal for reaching different learning styles
  • Flexible to be used in- or outdoors
  • Easily incorporated into existing curricula
