Celebrating Our Community, August 28
CELEBRATING OUR COMMUNITY
In 1969 the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District was formed thanks to a group of 70 residents from Bloomington, Chanhassen, Deephaven, Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, and Shorewood. They wanted to protect the communities they loved from flooding, manage water quality, and restore natural areas.
Protect. Manage. Restore. Over the past 50 years a lot has changed, but this community ethic has remained a driving force for the watershed district. Please join us for an evening to celebrate this community we have been lucky to be a part of for 50 years. There will be refreshments, a short program, and water-themed activites.
Free. RSVP required.
