At 50 square miles, the Riley Purgatory Bluff Creek Watershed District is home to many diverse water resources, including three creeks, fifteen lakes, and many acres of wetlands. Our community boasts extensive walking and biking trails, perfect for enjoying these water bodies, and this spring the watershed district is hosting an 7-mile bicycle ride along Purgatory Creek. At stops along the way we’ll discover new things about Purgatory Creek, the work the watershed district is undertaking to keep it clean, and what you can do to help. 

This is a family-friendly event, and minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are a must. Groups and families are welcome, but each participant must register separately. Space is limited for safety, so register early! Must register by April 17th to guarantee a free t-shirt.
